📍 Benin | Data Collection Assignment | 100 Positions Plan International Benin, as part of the School Feeding, Nutrition and Out-of-School Children Education Support Project (PAASEB), is recruiting one hundred (100 Field Enumerators to conduct a mapping of Out-of-School Children (OOSC) in the project's intervention areas. The project is funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB/FSID) and implemented in partnership with three NGOs: DEDRAS NGO, GBEWA NGO and SIA N'SON NGO, covering 11 departments of Benin. 🎯 PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT The enumerators will contribute to: •Conducting a comprehensive census of out-of-school children aged 7 to 15; •Establishing a reliable database; •Guiding each child toward the appropriate educational pathway; •Understanding the barriers preventing children from attending school; •Mobilizing parents to enroll their children in the project. Selected enumerators will be deployed in communities surrounding targeted schools, under the supervision of the partner NGOs and Plan International Benin's Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

👤 REQUIRED PROFILE Academic Qualification Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) or equivalent in one of the following fields: •Statistics, Demography or Data Science; •Project Management or Community Development; •Monitoring & Evaluation or Applied Research; •Education Sciences or Social Sciences; •Human Geography; •Economics. Professional Experience •At least 3 previous primary data collection assignments in the field; •Experience in education, the census of vulnerable populations or donor-funded projects is an advantage; •Strong knowledge of KoboToolbox is highly desirable. Skills and Qualities •Rigor and attention to detail; •Ability to work independently; •Good interpersonal and communication skills; •Fluency in the local language(s) of the selected area; •Full availability throughout the assignment; •Commitment to ethics, confidentiality and child protection principles.
