Description
• Ensure the daily feeding and watering of animals. • Monitor the health and welfare of the herd and report any abnormalities. • Participate in vaccination, deworming, and animal treatment programs. • Monitor kidding, lambing, calving, births, and the growth of animals. • Maintain livestock housing, pens, shelters, and farm equipment. • Monitor and manage stocks of feed, veterinary products, and farm supplies. • Assist with grazing and pasture management activities when required. • Keep simple records of livestock activities, movements, and production data. Etc.
Desired profile
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in small ruminant and cattle production. • Strong knowledge of animal feeding, breeding, and health management practices. • Ability to quickly identify and report animal health issues. • Responsible, organized, hardworking, and passionate about livestock farming. • Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
