However, in a world where every opinion seems equally valid, many people have come to believe that there is no absolute truth.
We often hear statements like:
"All religions lead to the same God."
"As long as you are sincere, that is what matters."
"Everyone has their own truth."
These ideas may sound comforting.
But are they really true?
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH CONFUSION?
We live in a time when tolerance is often confused with relativism.
For some people, respecting others has become the same as accepting every belief as equally true.
To avoid disagreement, many prefer to say that every path leads to God.
It sounds peaceful.
But one honest question deserves to be asked:
IF TWO ROADS LEAD IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS, CAN THEY REALLY TAKE YOU TO THE SAME DESTINATION?
In everyday life, we would never think this way.
If you are looking for a hospital, you do not take just any road.
If you dial the wrong phone number, your sincere intention will not connect you to the right person.
Why should it be different when it comes to knowing God?
WHAT JESUS DECLARED
Unlike many spiritual teachers who claimed to know or point to a way, Jesus made an extraordinary declaration.
He did not say,
"I know the way."
He did not say,
"I can show you one path among many."
He said:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
— John 14:6
This is one of the most profound statements found in the Bible.
Jesus did not present Himself as one option among many.
He presented Himself as the way.
His words invite every one of us to reflect personally and honestly.
LOVE AND TRUTH BELONG TOGETHER
Believing that Jesus is the only way does not mean despising those who believe differently.
Quite the opposite.
Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors.
To pray for everyone.
To respect every person, regardless of their beliefs.
Christian love is not about condemning people.
It is about sharing, with humility, kindness, and respect, what we believe to be God's revealed truth.
We can deeply respect others without abandoning our convictions.
Love without truth loses its direction.
Truth without love loses its witness.
God calls us to live with both.
AN INVITATION, NOT AN OBLIGATION
God never forces His love upon anyone.
He invites.
He calls.
He patiently waits for a free response.
That is why every person remains free to choose.
Yet every choice deserves careful consideration.
If Jesus truly is who He claimed to be, then His words deserve to be taken seriously.
And if He is not, then the question still deserves an honest investigation.
TAKE A FEW MINUTES TODAY
Set aside a quiet moment.
Read John chapter 14 for yourself.
Do not rely only on what others say about Jesus.
Discover what He says about Himself.
Then simply pray:
"Lord, if You truly are the Way, reveal Yourself to me. Open my mind, enlighten my heart, and lead me into Your truth. I want to know You as You truly are. Amen."
God never rejects anyone who sincerely seeks Him.
